About this tool
The editor writes Markdown in the browser and switches between source, split, preview and instant rendering. Fenced code is highlighted by language, inline code stays monospaced, formulas use KaTeX and diagrams use Mermaid. All of that runs on this device.
Drafts are stored locally and come back after a refresh. Pasted images are not uploaded. HTML export embeds them, and saving into a folder writes them beside the file.
What you can do
- Source, split, preview and instant rendering
- Syntax highlighting, formulas and diagrams stay on this device
- Drafts are saved locally and survive a refresh
How to use it
- Open a Markdown file, or start writing in the editor. The file is not uploaded.
- Adjust the options. The preview updates before you download.
- Download the result, or send it on to another tool. The same document stays open.
Questions
Does the document get uploaded?
DocZero reads and writes the file in your browser. Drafts stay in local storage on this device.
Is there a file size or count limit?
There is no account and no quota. Very large files are limited only by the memory of this browser.
Will code blocks lose their colors when I export?
No. Highlighting is rendered locally and the colors are written into HTML, Word, PDF and long images.
