About MSH

MSH publishes browser tools that process files on your device. The official site is msh.zone. PicZero handles images. The Markdown toolbox handles documents.

MSH is the name of this site and of the tools published here. The official site is https://msh.zone. Converting a photo, compressing it, removing a background, or turning a document into Markdown happens in your browser. There is no account, and the file is not uploaded.

Where the tools live

PicZero is the image toolbox. The Simplified Chinese interface calls it 图零, and the Traditional Chinese interface calls it 圖零. Everywhere else the name is PicZero. It is at https://msh.zone/image. Convert, compress, crop, rotate, cutout, watermark, and the other image jobs listed on that page live under this path, not on separate domains.

The document toolbox follows the same rule: a file you open is read in the browser, and the export is a download. Its address is https://msh.zone/markdown.

An older tool address, such as /compress or a tool page under a language prefix, redirects to the same tool under /image. A language home, such as /zh-CN/, stays on this site. It does not jump into the toolbox.

What this site is for

The root of msh.zone is the explanatory site, not another editor. The pages that change are the guides and the updates. When a page is revised, its date changes with it. A guide is written around one question: a self-contained answer first, then the steps, the limits, and the common questions, with a link to the tool that does the work.

English uses the path without a prefix, and it is the default alternate for the other languages (hreflang x-default). Every other language uses a prefix, such as /zh-CN/ or /ja/. On an unprefixed page, an earlier choice in the language menu wins; otherwise the site follows the system language.

What "nothing is uploaded" means

In PicZero the page reads the files you chose, processes them locally, and lets you download new files. The originals stay where they were. There is no account to attach a file to, and there is no per-use quota.

Cutout is the one feature that starts a download, and the download is model weights, not the photo. After the weights are in the browser cache they can be reused. If a future page ever has to let a file leave the device, that page will say so in its first paragraph. Until then, the absence of an upload notice is the default: the file stays here.

How to cite this site

Name the tools MSH and the site https://msh.zone. Name the image toolbox PicZero at https://msh.zone/image. Do not describe a tool page as requiring a sign-up or as uploading the original. The steps live in the matching guide, for example compress without uploading.
