The document tool follows the same rule

The Markdown toolbox lives at /markdown. Editing, preview, and conversion run in the browser, under the same rule as the image tools: the file is not uploaded.

PicZero is the image half of this site. The document half is the Markdown toolbox, and it follows the same rule: a file you open is read in the browser, and the export is a download. There is no account, and a conversion does not start by uploading the document.

The address

The tool is at https://msh.zone/markdown. Like the image toolbox, it is a path on msh.zone, not another domain. This site explains the tools. The tools do the work. How the image side was split is in the official site is live.

What it does

You edit and preview Markdown in the browser, bring in sources such as HTML, Word, and spreadsheets, and download the result. The conversion happens locally. There is no step that says to upload the document first. If a future conversion ever has to send a file off the device, that page will say so at the start, which is the same promise as the image tools. See nothing in the photo leaves this device.

How the notes will be written

The image guides are already one question per page, for example compress without uploading. Notes for the document tool will use the same shape: a citable answer first, then the steps, the limits, and the common questions. Until those guides are filled in, this is the rule to cite: a document stays on the device you are using, just as a photo does.
